Flyball Training Courses

A series of 4 Flyball Racing - Dog Training courses at Oaklands College, Smallford Campus, (between St Albans and Hatfield, Herts).

The courses are organised and run by Kevin McNicholas the person who first brought International Flyball racing to the UK and Europe. Founder of the British Flyball Association, Kevin has competed in the top ranks of the Flyball world for many years and in now running a dedicated Flyball Training programme. As well as competing, Kevin has judged Flyball competitions allover the World, including USA, Canada, Holland, Belgium of couse in the UK. Kevin and his dogs have appeared on many Televison programmes from Disney Club to BBC Record Breakers showing the fun sport of canine Flyball racing.

The venue for the training day will be at the Oaklands College, Smallford Campus, about 20miles North of London with easy connections to A1, M25 and M1 motorways. Depending on the weather on the day Indoor and Outdoor facilities have been secured.

For Ball Retrieve MAD dogs,. Basic Flyball training, Motivational and flyball box and jump technique training. Handlers must good dog training skills and their dog must be under control, an off lead recall is a must for this course

Intermediate, Team and Competition Training (half day course)

Progressing dogs that have mastered the basics, introducing speed and accuracy along with handler Motivational box, jump technique training. Moving dogs forward towards competition training and introducing Team training and advanced Flyball racing techniques..
